1 – The order

The customer can make his order directly via the website but also by telephone and by mail.
At the time of his order, the customer declares to have taken knowledge of the present general conditions of sale and to have accepted the terms.
The customer is informed that the products presented on the website and at the time of the order may no longer be available or on sale and that the prices may be updated.

The order becomes effective only when the customer is clearly identified by communicating all the information requested and by filling out the form available on the site.
Each stone or jewel is identified by a reference code which must be explicitly mentioned at the time of the order.
The customer declares to have the legal capacity allowing him to carry out an order on the site.

2 – Validation of the order

After registration of the order, the customer receives a confirmation either by e-mail or by mail.
This confirmation mail specifies the description and the references of the product, validates its availability and its essential characteristics, the exact amount invoiced and the delivery terms as chosen by the customer.

The order validated by the customer will be considered effective only after the bank payment center chosen by the customer has given its agreement.
The contractual terms of transport are to be negotiated directly with the carrier or can be subcontracted by Les Pierres de Julie, if the customer has made the express request.

The selling prices of the Products on shipjoly.com are indicated in Euros, all taxes included, but do not include delivery charges which will be indicated to the User during the purchase process, before the final validation of the Order. 

Delivery fees and conditions are presented at the time of ordering.
For the Euro zone, no customs fees or taxes apply, but for the rest of the world, shipping fees apply and taxes and customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

3 – Delivery

Depending on the jewelry ordered, the customer can:
– have it delivered to the address indicated by the customer at the time of the order:
either by the carrier selected by the customer
or by the carrier-partner of the shopjoly.com (according to current rates).
For any delivery problem (damaged package, missing item, etc. ….), the customer must notify the carrier and shopjoly.com by letter, within 3 days of receiving the product.
The Buyer must check the condition of the Products upon receipt in order to confirm their conformity with the Order.

When the verification of the Product is possible at the time of delivery, the Buyer must immediately make reservations about the condition of the package and the Product, with the carrier if the Product or its packaging has been damaged during transport.
If a Product is returned to shopjoly.com for a reason such as “unclaimed” or “does not live at the address indicated”: the Buyer will be reimbursed for the price of the Order (excluding the cost of returning the Product and the customs fees that may apply)

After a period of one month without any news from the Buyer, the Products will no longer be shipped, without this giving the right to reimbursement, exchange or compensation.

4 – Methods of payment

The price charged to the customer is the price indicated on the order confirmation sent by shopjoly.com.
The payment is made either by : credit card (online payment system)

bank transfer for customers outside France, who have not chosen the previous means of payment: the bank details will be sent to you by simple request: [email protected]

5 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the Hamon law of March 17, 2014, the consumer has a period of 14 days (from the day of receipt of the package) to exercise his right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons, or pay penalties.

The expenses of return (shipping insurance and customs duties) are chargeable to the buyer.
Customers will have to pay for the Return Shipping fees as well as taxes and customs fees.
Items must be returned in the condition received.
To ensure proper insurance coverage, all return shipments must be insured.
Any international customs duties and taxes will not be refunded.
Return shipping costs are not subsidized and may be higher than the original shipping cost due to customs fees upon arrival in France.

After reception and verification of the returned jewels,shopjoly.com will reimburse the customer the amount paid, minus any shipping costs charged to the customer, within a maximum of 30 days.

The stones or jewels offered are in accordance with the French legislation in force at the time of the sale.
The responsibility of Les Joly Bijoux cannot be engaged in case of non-respect of the legislation of the country where the jewels are delivered.

It is up to the buyer to check with local authorities the possibilities and modalities of importing the stones or jewelry you plan to order, and to respect them under your own responsibility.

Moreover, if You choose to access the Site from territories other than France, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk. 

The present conditions of use are governed by the provisions of French law as well as all contracts concluded between the seller (Les Joly Bijoux) and the buyer.
Any dispute is the competence of the Commercial Court of Paris.
